by STONEY CREEK 3BALL GOLF CLASSIC
On Saturday 18th March, Morisset Golf Club are hosting a very special day. With the support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Stoney Creek Golf they have nominated their Saturday competition as PROSTATE CANCER DAY in order to raise much needed funds for research into Prostate Cancer.
The day is an Open Day so visitors are more than welcome. It will be played under the Stoney Creek Golf format with the winners advancing to the Regional Finals.
Contact the Pro Shop 4973 2455 to book your team of 3.
It goes without saying that every golf club would have members who in some way have been touched by prostate cancer. Over 3,400 men died of prostate cancer in 2016. That is a huge number that can be reduced. With better screening and greater awareness made of the disease and the need for men over 50 years to have their prostate regularly checked.
What better place to help raise the awareness of prostate cancer than a golf club? With typically high male memberships between the age 50 and 75 years. So congratulations to Morisset Golf Club for joining with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Stoney Creek Golf to hold this event.
Could you imagine how great the awareness would be if every golf club held an event similar to Morisset’s.
If your club would like to hold an event contact us here at firstname.lastname@example.org and we in association with The Prostate Cancer Foundation can join with you to host this special day at your club.
Join us to help raise awareness of this disease and save lives.
Keep watching www.stoneycreekgolf.com.au as there is always new clubs registering their event.
