On Saturday 18th March, Morisset Golf Club are hosting a very special day. With the support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Stoney Creek Golf they have nominated their Saturday competition as PROSTATE CANCER DAY in order to raise much needed funds for research into Prostate Cancer.

Next Tuesday 18th August the Golf Show at 7.30 & 9.30 PM on Fox Sports will be showing a very special story on The Stoney Creek 3ball Golf Classic.
In the end the winners, on an excellent score of 95 points were the team from Wanneroo. This is the second year Wanneroo has competed in the Stoney Creek competition. The runners up, on another great score of 93 points, were from Capel, a club new to the competition this year.
On Monday July 13, 42 winners from Stoney Creek club competitions gathered at Secret Harbour for the 2015 State Final.
With perfect golfing weather and the course in great shape, players assembled for what was a great day of golf.
From the second we caught the plane, to our arrival back in Sydney the whole trip ran perfectly.
John and Jim were happy to assist with all aspects of the trip and the golf course was amazing. The accommodation and dinners included were nothing short of first class and my wife was made to feel part of the travelling squad. I cant recommend the trip highly enough.
“If you can’t play in the wind you can’t play Geraldton” said one seasoned member as Captain John Evans briefed the 51 players before the start of Geraldton Golf Club’s Stoney Creek 3 ball Golf Classic.
The trip was first class all the way, well organised and we were well looked after – nothing was too much trouble, I would most certainly recommend the tour and I am definitely going again next year.
Excitement, high expectations, nerves, adrenalin. Its all there on the faces of the players and officials as they prepare to board the golf ferry for the short trip from Hamilton Island to the Golf Club.
